Core Values

Cru presents these goals to students as our DNA–the essentials that make up who we are as believers. For each student that has a relationship with Christ, we desire for you to both know and believe these values:

 

1. You are a child of the King…know Christ

(Galatians 4:1-7, Romans 8:14-17, Philippians 3:1-11, Matthew 22:36-38)

2. You are a servant of the King…surrender to Christ

(Mark 10:17-31, Luke 9:57-62, Philippians 1:12-30, Mark 10:35-45, Romans 12:1-2)

3. You are an ambassador to the King…share Christ

(2 Corinthians 5:11-21, Matthew 28:18-20, Colossians 4:2-6, Romans 10:13-15)

 

Each value has both an aspect of our identity in Christ and the action that should overflow from our lives as a result of believing that truth. We believe that our identity is who Christ has made us to be and should be the sole motivation for the things that we do.
